Privacy policy

This page explains what Flow30 collects when you use flow30.ca or work with us, why we collect it, where it is kept, and how to have it removed. It is written in plain language on purpose.

[ 01 ]

Who we are

Flow30 builds and maintains websites and automates admin work for small and mid-sized businesses across Canada, primarily Ontario.

Anything to do with privacy, including a request to see or delete your information, goes to ishaanchandra04@gmail.com or (416) 253-4300.

[ 02 ]

What we collect

There are three ways your information reaches us.

  • What you type into a form on this site: your name, your email address, your company name if you give one, what you are looking for, when you want it live, and any notes you add.
  • What your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you opened, and the link or search that brought you here.
  • What you send us directly by email or tell us over the phone.
[ 03 ]

What we do not collect

This site never asks for payment card numbers, banking details, government identification, or health information, and you should not send them to us. If a project needs payment details, they go through the payment provider handling the transaction, not through us.

[ 04 ]

Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not hand it to anyone for their own advertising.

  • To answer your enquiry and put together a quote.
  • To run, support, and invoice a project once you hire us.
  • To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
[ 05 ]

Where your information is stored

Form submissions are saved in a database run by Supabase, the database provider behind this site. Access is limited to Flow30, and the admin area that reads it is behind a password.

Our providers may store or process data on servers outside Canada. Where that happens, the information can be subject to the laws of the country the servers sit in.

[ 06 ]

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful and where they leave. It tells us how the site is used, not who you are.

Nothing loads until you allow it. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Decline and no Google script is ever requested, so no analytics cookie is set. Accept and Google Analytics sets cookies that recognise a returning browser and group visits into a session. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes your saved choice and the analytics cookies with it. The banner will then ask again.

There are no advertising pixels and no retargeting trackers on this site, and we do not use analytics data to build a profile of you or to target ads.

[ 07 ]

Email and phone

If you give us your email address, we use it to reply to you and to keep a project moving. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking first, and every message we send makes it obvious who it is from and how to stop it. Reply with the word stop and we will take you off.

[ 08 ]

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are in touch, and afterwards for as long as we reasonably need them for our records and tax obligations. Project files are kept for the life of the project and a reasonable period after handover, in case you come back to us.

Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless the law requires us to keep a copy.

[ 09 ]

Your rights

Canadian privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have mistakes corrected, and to withdraw your consent to us using it.

Email ishaanchandra04@gmail.com and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

[ 10 ]

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the data behind it sits in password protected accounts with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong in a way that affects your information, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

[ 11 ]

Other websites

Some pages link out to sites we have built for clients, and to tools we use. Once you leave flow30.ca you are covered by that site's privacy policy rather than this one.

[ 12 ]

Children

This site is meant for business owners and the people who work with them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

[ 13 ]

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change matters to you, we will make it visible rather than bury it in a paragraph.

Questions about this page

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold about you, ask. We will answer in plain language.
